Document Verification Training
We run specialised training courses in Document Verification and Immigration Law for up to 20 delegates at a time. These can be run at your company offices or a venue of your choosing. Our trainers come from law enforcement backgrounds and have years of experience in their fields. Choose from the packages below or we can create a bespoke one to suit your individual needs.
Document Verification Training
This workshop uses a lot of visual examples in the form of a comprehensive Power Point presentation. Also delegates will see and handle actual documents and use Ultra Violet lights and magnifiers to help identify the concealed features in genuine documents. This workshop will equip delegates with the knowledge needed to help protect your reputation by correctly identifying those individuals who could be employed by you subject to your other recruitment requirements. The session covers the following:
- Identity and identity fraud.
- Imposters and look a likes, techniques that can be used to spot them
- Training on the security features of documents – passports, visas, driving licences. birth certificates and supporting documents, in detail.
- Document security features.
- Common scams to be aware of.
- Methods of counterfeiting & forgery and the difference between them.
- Identify document irregularities and what action to take when you do.
- Fantasy documents & camouflage passports.
- How to deal with suspicious documents.
- Examples of fraudulent documents both counterfeit and forged.
- The benefits of using ultra violet light and magnifiers.
- Practical exercises involving real documents.
- Reference material and how to use it.
- The problems of the Internet.
Right to Work Training
This interactive workshop covers all the elements you need to help prevent illegal working, including:
- Essential legal considerations
- Ensuring your policy is legally compliant
- Avoid costly discrimination litigation
- Policy and procedures in employing UK, EEA, and non EEA nationals
- Compliance with Home Office and PBS guidelines
- How to verify a non UK applicant’s immigration status
- Checking and verifying identity documentation and qualifications
- Understand how a UKVI enforcement visit works and what actions to take
- Creating records which meet the statutory excuse requirement
